Raising A Hand For Rett is a 501c3, whose mission is to eliminate Rett syndrome, a devastating neurological disorder that took the life of Kevin Black’s daughter.. For over two decades, our core mission hasn’t changed. This new initiative is designed to encourage folks to “Pay It forward” by sponsoring the Great American Book Giveaway.

Here’s how it works.

We have created a list of worthy recipients that will receive a quantity of books based on nine sponsorship levels. Choose a sponsorship level from 1 book up to 500 books, and then you can choose from the list, your desired recipients.

First Responders US Military Pediatrician’s Office/Clinics
Hospitals Rett Families Senior/Assisted Living Facilities
US Border Patrol Foster Home Facilities Abuse Recovery Facilities
Public Libraries Small Live Music Venues Independent Artists (in RAH book series)

We will then distribute the copies around the nation and in some cases when it to comes to our military, overseas, with a note identifying you as the sponsor.

Example: Sponsor 50 books, send in a check for $2,500, or simply make a donation here and the books will then be mailed out in a timely manner to the desired recipients.

If you prefer us to make the determination from the list of who receives the books, we will be happy to do so.
